Graduation process – current rules
· the subject of the thesis is settled by the supervisor upon consultation with the student and then submitted by the supervisor for approval by the Council of the Institute,
· each thesis must be scientific in nature, written in scientific style, and must contain references and bibliography,
· all used sources and tools (including AI) must be appropriately marked,
· the supervisor submits the notification of the defence of a thesis to the Dean’s Office no later than 20 days before the planned date of the graduation exam, and then the student enters a pdf file of the final thesis to the APD system,
· graduation exams are organised: during the exam session and until 10 July; during the retake exam session and until 30 September,
· each thesis is verified in the Uniform Anti-plagiarism System and its release for the graduation exam is decided by the supervisor based on the verification report,
· each thesis is reviewed, reviews are placed in the APD system for the student to read them before the graduation exam,
· the exam consists in a presentation of the thesis, discussion about the thesis and two questions concerning the studied major,
· the commission’s decision concerning the result of the exam is final.
