Cooperation with strategic partners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute of Political Science, in developing its contacts with the socio-economic environment, first pursues cooperation with its strategic partners. The first of these is the Association of Wroc\u0142aw Political Science Graduates and Students, which brings together graduates of the Institute who are active as entrepreneurs, managers, civil servants, politicians and journalists. The Institute of Political Science also cooperates with employers, business entities and public administration offices. This cooperation is institutionalised in the form of the Institute of Political Science’s Stakeholder Council, which consists of: Wojciech Adamski (Director of the Department of Security and Crisis Management of the Municipal Office in Wroc\u0142aw), Dr Tomasz Chmielewski (COO at Clearcode Services S.A), Tomasz Duda (Editor-in-Chief of Radio Rodzina), Dr Rados\u0142aw Michalski (Director of the Department of City Promotion and Tourism at Wroc\u0142aw City Hall), Agata Potarzycka-Szczerba (freelance public relations consultant), Marcin Skocz (President of the Management Board of the Semper Avanti Foundation), Ewa Skrzywanek (Wroc\u0142aw Teacher Training Centre), Laurynas Vai\u010di\u016bnas (President of the Management Board of the College of Eastern Europe).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooperation with schools<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Institute of Political Science carries out cooperation with schools. As part of this, the Institute’s staff, doctoral students and students conduct classes and workshops on social and political issues at schools. Pupils can also visit the Institute of Political Science, take classes on the premises of the University, and familiarise themselves with the Collection of Documents of Social and Political Life. Classes are also conducted remotely. Schools are also welcome to attend classes offered as part of the Lower Silesian Science Festival. Institutions interested in cooperation are invited to contact the Institute of Political Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooperation with public administration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employees of the Institute of Political Science provide expert support to the public administration. In this capacity, they have cooperated with the local government of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship and many municipalities in our region. We also carry out teaching activities in cooperation with the administration, which also offers our students internships and placements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooperation with the media<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employees of the Institute of Political Science provide expert support to the media with regard to their research. Our experts comment on current social and political events, among others on TVN, Telewizja Polsat, TVP Echo, TVP Wroc\u0142aw, Gazeta Wyborcza, Newsweek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olimpiada Wiedzy o Polsce i \u015awiecie Wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnym<\/strong> (Poland and the Contemporary World Knowledge Olympiad)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2020, the Institute of Political Science at the University of Wroc\u0142aw has been the co-organiser of the district edition of the Olympiad of Knowledge about Poland and the Contemporary World. The Olympiad of Knowledge of Poland and the Contemporary World has been organised since 1960. The first stage competitions are held simultaneously in all eligible schools, after which students take part in the district competitions. Our Institute has been organising the district competition in Lower Silesia since 2020. Students who win at this stage go on to the central competition, which takes place in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
