Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries

On October 10-11th, 2024, the Institute of Political Science at the University of Wrocław hosted the participants of the third event organised within the project “Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries”. The event has been divided into several parts.
As one of the event parts, the representatives of leading Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian universities presented the results of the scientific research devoted to the project issues. The results of the next phase of works on monograph were fully elaborated and commented on by event participants, both theoreticians and practitioners.
Another part of the event was a great opportunity for an in-dept discussion and opinions exchange devoted to the current problems of post-COVID urban recovery in Visegrad region. The debate was not aimed only at researchers – the representatives of Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia, but also the practitioners working within the subject of the project. It was a great pleasure to host representatives of local governments, non-governmental organizations and the business sector.
In the next part special, dedicated workshops for students and doctoral students were organized. The participants of the event had the opportunity to learn the conditions, forms and mechanisms for conducting urban policies during the post-pandemic period.
We are honored by the fact that the event has been supported by the honorary patronage of:
