Summer School on Democracy
Since 2013, the Institute of Political Science has hosted the annual Summer School on Democracy. It has become an opportunity to meet students, PhD students and academics from many countries, primarily from Central and Eastern Europe. The School’s initiator and organiser is Piotr Sula, PhD, Prof. UWr.
Students’ conference – Politics & Society in Central and Eastern Europe
Since 2012, the Institute of Political Science has been hosting twice a year (at the end of each semester) student and doctoral conference entitled ‘Politics & Society in Central and Eastern Europe’. Over the course of several years, it has already brought together hundreds of students and doctoral students from the Institute of Political Science and other units of the University of Wrocław, as well as from other Polish and foreign universities (for example, students staying at our university as part of international exchange programmes). For many of them, it was an opportunity to make their first ever conference speech. Currently, the conference supervisor and organiser is Dr Kamil Błaszczyński.
