Storytelling in social advocacy: workshop

Next week the Institute of Political Science will host the international research-and-teaching workshop organized within the Arqus European University Alliance! 🤝✨

The event will once again bring together academic perspectives and the experience of social organizations to reflect on how universities can not only share expert knowledge, but also learn from institutions supporting people facing crisis situations — related to migration, economic exclusion, or homelessness. 🌱

The workshop, prepared by Dr Monika Wichłacz and Dr Mateusz Zieliński, will bring together academic staff from the 🇵🇹 University of Minho and the 🇱🇹 Vilnius University. Our partner in this initiative is MiserArt – the space of creative revitalization, which uses art as a tool for social change and supports people experiencing homelessness as well as those affected by the war in Ukraine. 🎨💬

This event marks another step towards building a European network for sharing social perspectives and strengthening long-term cooperation among Arqus universities. 🌐
