Workshop ‘Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries: Towards Effective Sectoral Policies?’

Last week a workshop entitled ‘Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries: Towards Effective Sectoral Policies?’ was held in Szeged, Hungary, combined with the presentation of a monograph that was created as part of the project ‘Urban Post-COVID Recovery in the V4 Countries’. ”, which is being carried out at our institute between 2022 and 2025 with financial support from the International Visegrad Fund (IVF). The event was attended by employees of our institute: hab. Kamil Glinka prof. UWr (project coordinator), dr hab. Dorota Moroń prof. UWr, dr hab. Małgorzata Madej, dr Marlena Piotrowska, and mgr Olga Grajek.

The workshop provided an opportunity to present the comprehensive results of the research conducted as part of the project, as well as to exchange opinions and experiences regarding the responses of local governments to the challenges of post-pandemic recovery in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. The event was attended not only by representatives of the academic community, but also by practitioners – representatives of local government units, the non-governmental sector and entrepreneurs.
